War and festivals (peace), opposing elements that significantly impact human life, are always accompanied by the image of flame, symbolizing their respective beginnings    and endings. These images of flames linger within human emotions and sentiments, ironically becoming symbolic representations of both war and festivals.

“YOUR FLAME II” was exhibited in a former military building. As spectators walk into   the space, scenes that initially seem like dazzling festival fireworks gradually transform into scenes of war bombings with corresponding sounds. This work, which begins with the motif of flames, uses a database of flame images and sounds to provide the audience with an extreme and simultaneous experience of two contrasting emotions (war    and peace). By asking fundamental questions about the ideological conflict inherent in humanity, where individuals perceive opposing perspectives even when looking at the same object in a way, it paradoxically emphasizes a message of peace.
